What is B.Y.O.M.?
Once a quarter, our friends at Well Coffee host events that make all of us a little more aware of challenges being faced by people across the world and here at home. Each event raises money to benefit different causes and non profit organizations started right here in our own backyard. The cost of your ticket includes a freshly roasted bag of coffee, gifts from the generous sponsors, and a built-in donation to the selected charity. You'll also get a chance to connect with representatives from the organizations you're helping. It's a real way to make a difference...all while having a little (ok, a lot) of fun.
Who are we helping?
This month we're privileged to work alongside Dominion Trading Company, a direct trade coffee importer that seeks to empower Ethiopian farmers by providing them with improved market access and increased income, Chefs 4 Kids, an organization working to bring the 143 million orphans of the world things they need most- food, shelter, clothing and education, and ALARM , an African-led and Africa-based organization that focuses on equipping leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to truly transform their communities.
Why should I come?
As much as BYOM is about the cause...it's also very much a party. Sample small bites from some of DFW's most notable chefs, enjoy amazing drinks from our friends at the soon opening Cedar Social (hint: "party harder"), take home awesome Ethiopian Roast coffee from Well Coffee and melt in your mouth cookies from Chefs 4 Kids, and dance until they kick us out to beats dropped by Las Vegas and celebrity party legend DJ Big Daddy. Rest assured that this will be a night you do not want to miss.
When should I buy my ticket?
Um...NOW! Ticket prices WILL increase to $30 at the door. Know that over 50% of your ticket price is an automatic donation to the amazing organizations this event supports.

Well Coffee is a part of a Co-Op of roasters from around the U.S. that establishes direct trade relationships with coffee farms all across the "coffee belt." Through this holistic approach, we hope to have a positive and eternal impact on coffee communities around the world.
